Collaboration with Hästens – Sleep better, surrounded by nature

At Havsvidden, we have entered into a long-term collaboration with Hästens – a Swedish family company with over 170 years of experience in crafting world-class beds. What unites us is a shared philosophy: to create space for rest, recovery, and quality sleep – in harmony with nature and with great care for detail, materials, and craftsmanship.

Through our partnership, Hästens’ natural materials meet Havsvidden’s unique surroundings – the red granite cliffs of Åland, the wide-open sea, and the old pine trees standing guard over the landscape. Together, we want to offer experiences where the body can relax, the mind find stillness, and sleep be given the space it deserves.

Selected suites at Havsvidden will be furnished with Hästens beds, giving our guests the opportunity to experience world-class sleep. We are also launching a new glamping concept, Sleep Under the Stars, where Hästens beds meet Åland’s striking natural beauty – a unique combination of comfort and presence.

Grand Vividus visits Åland, April 25–26

For three days in April, Åland will host a very special guest – Hästens’ most exclusive bed, the Grand Vividus, is coming to Havsvidden. This masterfully handcrafted bed, developed in collaboration with designer Ferris Rafauli, costs over 7 million SEK and is made with utmost precision by some of the world’s most skilled artisans.

From April 25 to 26, everyone is warmly welcome to visit Havsvidden and experience the Grand Vividus up close. Other Hästens bed models will also be showcased, and representatives from Hästens will be on site to share more about the craftsmanship behind the beds – and why sleep is one of the most important investments we can make in our well-being
